streets were jammed with parades, a stage, marching bands, onlookers, stray dogs and chaos. The bus stood still for 4hrs before we were allowed to
pass through the town, but we did get off the bus and walk around to watch the celebrations. Most of the journey was through the night so I don't
recall anything else about it except that it took 18hrs to arrive in Santa Cruz (The City of Rings).
Other Border Crossings
The border crossing at Yacuiba is 1 of 3 border crossings I have done between Bolivia and Argentina. The other 2 are at Villazon and Bermejo.
